Petrophysics for the Energy Transition Seminar – Thursday 11th March 2021- Call for Abstracts!

LPS One-Day Seminar

On Thursday 11th March the London Petrophysical Society will be holding a half-day Webinar on the Petrophysics role in the Energy Transition.

It will consist of a series of themed talks, on applications of petrophysical methods and formation evaluation techniques outside of the conventional O&G sector, each lasting around 25 minutes.

We are looking for talks on any renewable energy topics which involves petrophysical expertise, for example:

– Geothermal Energy
– Carbon Capture Storage
– Hydrogen/Methane/Helium Storage
– Hydrology and Ocean Drilling
– Solar Energy
– Bioenergy
– Mining
– Case studies

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts should be one or two paragraphs including an illustration and submitted in Word Document format.

This seminar is intended for general technical interest (as opposed to sales or marketing) and we request that the talks are kept technical in nature, with the use of generic rather than trade names.
