New Technology Virtual Webinar – Thursday 21st January 2021 – Call for Abstracts!

LPS One-Day Seminar

On Thursday 21st January the London Petrophysical Society will be holding a half-day New Technology webinar online.

It will consist of a series of themed talks, on petrophysical and formation evaluation technologies that are new to the industry each lasting around 20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.

We are looking for talks on new technologies on any petrophysical theme, for example:

– Mud logging
– Wireline
– Surveillance
– Coring and core analysis
– Digital rocks
– Machine learning/big data
– Any other petrophysical technology
– Case studies using new technologies

Call for Abstracts

Abstracts should be one or two paragraphs including an illustration and submitted in Word Document format.

This seminar is intended for general technical interest (as opposed to sales or marketing) and we request that the talks are kept technical in nature, with the use of generic rather than trade names.
