This evening lecture consists of two talks:

The first is by Stacey Althaus who is joining us as part of the SPWLA distinguished speaker program, to present how nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) has been developed to accurately determine petrophysical properties including porosity, bulk density, and matrix density from drill cuttings of unconventional tight reservoirs.

The second talk will be given by Andrea Gasparotto from the University of Southampton, titled ‘Sediment dynamics and bank retreat in macrotidal settings’.
