The LPS is excited to announce that we are collaborating with the Operations Geoscience community and holding their annual conference at Burlington House in June 2026.

Theme of the event is “Evolution”, recognising where the operations geoscience profession has been, is now, and looking ahead at how the subsurface community, roles, and methods are adapting to future challenges!

The 2026 conference will focus on the “evolution” of the Operations Geoscientist role — how our discipline is changing, expanding and adding value across well delivery, subsurface integration and field development.
This will be the first Operations Geoscience Conference since 2020, and previous events have been extremely well attended and highly regarded across the industry. We’re aiming for a welcoming, practical and discussion-led event that brings together the full operations geoscience community.
