Petrophysics 101-Core Analysis Essentials
Call for Abstracts: Deadline 20th February!
This is the 2nd One-Day Seminar of 2017, and is intended to be for general interest and of an introductory level for people unfamiliar with the intricacies of Core Analysis Petrophysics. We request that the talks are kept at a more introductory level, with the use of generic rather than trade names.This One-Day Seminar will consist of a series of themed talks, on the essentials of core analysis for formation evaluation, each lasting around 30 minutes with five minutes for questions. We shall also distribute the course material (after editing) to all participants for free, and these can also be purchased if you are not able to attend the event.
This is a Call for Abstracts for presentations from Oil & Gas Companies, Service Companies, Independent Consultants, Academia and other interested parties, on topics related to Core Analysis, including (but not limited to):
– Core quality & QC
– Handling Core Correctly
– Core Petrophysics measurements – what should we know.
Thursday, 16th March

The full day course will cost £150 for delegates (LPS is not VAT registered), which includes lunch, and post-seminar wine & savouries.

Abstracts should be one or two paragraphs including an illustration and submitted in Word Document format.
This seminar is intended for general technical interest (as opposed to sales or marketing) and we request that the talks are kept technical in nature, with the use of generic rather than trade names.
